Ordering & Shipping

Ordering

Customer service is critical to any business’ success, and ours is no different. We strive to provide you the most comprehensive shopping experience so that there’s little getting in the way of you and your candle journey. If you encounter any issues with the site, or see areas for improvement please feel free to let us know on the Contact Us page. We want you to be fully satisfied with both the shopping experience as you are with our products once they reach you.

Sales Tax

All purchases online destined for Canadian addresses will be subject to 5% GST. Purchased destined for Saskatchewan addresses will be addressed 6% PST additionally. Those purchases destined for outside of Canada will not be taxed by us, but may be subject to your local taxes upon clearance of customs.

Payments

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shopify Pay. All online payments are processed by Shopify Payments and are certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. The process is about as safe as it gets online. We don’t keep any card records on file unless authorized by you through our credit card authorization form (typically for wholesale purposes only), nor do we have access to your credit card information at any point during your checkout process; everything is automated in that sense.

Shipping

Before our candles leave our studio in Saskatoon, they are thoroughly inspected for defects and damage, and hand-packed with care to ensure they arrive on your doorstep in pristine condition and ready for you to enjoy fully.

Your order is typically processed within 24-48 hours. If you select a shipping option that requires a signature and are not home when the product is delivered you will be responsible for picking it up at a nearby receiving depot listed on the note left by the courier. We apologize for this inconvenience but this is entirely out of our hands.

All shipping charges are at the expense of the customer unless otherwise stated (shipping promotions etc). Our products are packaged knowing the shipments can be a taxing situation for a product, and as such we aim to secure the product in the event of bumps and drops, but accidents do happen. Couriers are responsible for breakage once the product leaves our warehouse.

Basic parcel shipping does not include insurance, but we’ve had good experience with packages being delivered in good standing. Insurance can be added if desired.
